Job Description
We are looking for a Global Operations Manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing daily import and export operations, Customs clearance, wharf transport, customer invoicing, financial oversight, and team performance. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, strong stakeholder relationships, and delivery of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily import, export and Customs operations.
Maintain and manage Profit & Loss (P&L).
Lead, mentor and develop operational staff.
Develop and maintain third-party and carrier relationships.
Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
Negotiate local service providers and maintain rate cards.
Generate and review periodic job financial reports.

5–10 years’ experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
Export DG accreditation (advantageous).
Customs Broker Licence (advantageous).
Experience with CargoWise (Wise Cloud) Essential.
Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding operations.
Sound financial and business acumen.
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to present complex information clearly (written and verbal).
Effective planning and organisational skills.
Able to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
